Hyosung also sold motorcycles under a second name of UM or United Motors. UM motorcycles are the EXACT same motorcycle as Hyosung and all parts are the same. In 2009 Hyosung stopped selling their motorcycles under the UM brand but fully back all UM models with parts and service. Hyosung has a complete product line that is a clear step above the shoddy mainland Chinese brands that crowd the internet and floors of small low end motorcycle shops. Hyosung motorcycles value is genuinely there and it’s a quality product built by a company that isn’t going anywhere but up! Hyosung is the leading motorcycle manufacture from Korea since it’s inception in 1978 and has a cooperative agreement with Suzuki Motor Corp. of Japan since 1979. All Hyosung Motorcycles come with the industries leading 2 year limited warranty that can be extended to 4 years for only $598.00 Ray’s has been selling/servicing and supplying parts for Hyosung Motors since 2007. Today Hyosung’s USA home is located in Georgia. Hyosung is following in the footsteps of other South Korean Companies like automakers Kia and Hyundai that brought their unknown brand name to the United States consumers. Remember no one knew of Kia or Hyundi 15 years ago!
